


JAY MADDEN

Coach Jay Madden has been a Head Football Coach at the 5A level in the State of Colorado for 29 years. He is one of the winningest coaches in the history of Colorado at the 5A level.

Coach Madden is a Colorado Native. He graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada where he played Quarterback. He went on to play college football at Mesa State University, (Colorado Mesa) where he was an named an All-American in 1990.
Coach Madden is currently the Head Coach at Legacy High School where they are coming off back- to-back League Championships. Before Legacy, Coach Madden returned to his alma mater and was the Head Coach at Pomona High School for 20 years, where he built them into one of the premier programs in the State. In his last 12 seasons at Pomona, his teams made it to the Quarterfinals every year. They made the Semifinals 7 times and the State Championship Game 4 times. Pomona won the State Title in 2017. Coach Madden’s teams have always been known for their toughness, discipline, and execution.

Coach Madden and his wife Shalene have been married for 27 years. Together they have two daughters and one son, Ashley 25, Katelyn 22, and Tyler 18.
TIM STUBER

Tim is a Colorado native who earned First Team All WAC and All Mountain West honors as on Offensive Lineman at Colorado State University. Tim played five seasons in the NFL, retiring as a Denver Bronco in 2005. Tim coached for the Hamburg Sea Devils in the NFL Europe League. He has also coached at Legacy High School, Broomfield Blitz competitive youth league.

Tim is a husband, father of two and a business owner in Broomfield, Colorado.
JAKE KNIPP

Jake Knipp grew up in Colorado and fell in love with the game of football early on in his childhood. Once he got to high school, he fell in love with the quarterback position on a whole different level. Jake became a 2-time All-State Quarterback selection and broke the Colorado High School record for highest completion percentage in a season. Jake ended up accepting a scholarship to play football at the University of Northern Colorado where he would wind up spending 6 years playing for the Bears. Jake took over as starting Quarterback his freshmen year and broke every freshmen record in UNC history. Jake would became the only 5-time team captain in the history of the NCAA after 6 years in Greeley. With several injuries and setbacks along the way, Jake ended up signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL and now has chosen to coach and share all of his successes and failures with the next generation of quarterbacks.
DESHON MAYES

Deshon Mayes is a Colorado Native from the Denver Metro Area. He attended Pomona High School in Arvada, CO where he was a decorated multi-sport athlete. Following High School, he attended Colorado State University, where he was a Linebacker from 2015-2018. Coach Mayes is now a football skill development trainer & youth football coach in Fort Collins.
